Hope you all had a wonderful time with your Family and Friends for Thanksgiving. I had an absolutely wonderful time up north. My cousin and his wife came home from Germany for her first Thanksgiving, so it was wonderful to see them for the first time in a year!

Can you believe that it is already Thanksgiving? Christmas is right around the corner along with Lisa’s 12 Days of Christmas items that she does every year! Are you excited for that? She has some great NEW items and some Oldies but Goodies that we are going to revisit.

It is going to be so hard for me to pick which one of these I should do! I might cave and just do them both! Each version is only $20 for the kit, the pattern is Free!
And last but not least we have two color options for the Scrappy Penny Tree Ornaments. You can do the Cream, Green or both Version of these primitive tree ornaments. The tree trunk is not included in the kit, we figured most of you have a tree somewhere where you can find a twig to use if not buy a 1/4″ dowel. While designing the ornaments for the Primitive Christmas Event, Lisa just could not stop and came up with 2 more sets of ornaments AND an awesome Pincushion, scissors, and needle case pattern.

How excited are you for our Primitive Christmas Event next week? November 19-22, 2015 we will be hosting our Annual Primitive Christmas Event, we have moved the Event one week earlier to ensure that everyone receives their products in time for the Holidays. This year will be the first year for our California Shop to have a Christmas Event of their own, and they are going to have so much fun with this Event as we do every year with you all. You can join us Online or in either of our Shops for this great Event full of some awesome FREE patterns and a FREE pincushion kit! Along with our Coupon Book and a few more NEW designs from Lisa!
As promised our Annual 2015 Christmas Mug will be available as well! The Mugs arrived while we were at Market and we made Amy break into the boxes and send us a picture of our finished mug! Sunset Hill Stoneware out did themselves again this year with the color we picked out and Lisa’s Tree Design. We have had them all boxed up in the warehouse since then and CAN NOT wait to take them out of the box and spread them around the Shop! We have a few more days to wait……so the anticipation of this EVENT has us at the edge of our seats. The Christmas Tree is our theme this year and we have designed our ornaments and our mugs around this the timeless Christmas Tradition.
Our 2015 Mug is a Limited Edition, like last years. We only had a certain amount of them made, so hopefully we have enough for everyone who would like them. However, once they are gone, they are gone; so please make sure to order them as soon as you possibly can. We have them all in, so they will be to you in time for Christmas Gifts and Goody Bags for your friends and family.

We asked several of you on Facebook what you would like to see as a Block of the Month and many of you suggested that we do Backyard Gatherings again. It is a Block of the Month that Lisa designed back in 2003, and we have not done it since then. SO we have brought it back for you. We have 2 versions that we will be doing.
Our Light Version which will be on a cream based Flannel from Lisa’s Wool and Needle III line, with our hand dyed wools appliquéd on the Flannel. The picture you see here does not have the borders or the half square triangles on it yet. You will find a picture of the completed quilt and several of the blocks located on our website. I had such a great time redoing these blocks with the new colors that we have available to us to use, I just need to get to stitching them!
Your first month will be $75 which will include a block and all of the background fabrics for this quilt. Each month after that (13 months) it will only be $15. We have a great collection of threads available as well for this which will be $60.00. Our pattern is sold separately as I know several of you probably already have the pattern at home, the pattern will be $35.00 if you need it.
We will also have a Dark Version of this quilt available as well. The Dark Version is on Lisa’s Black geometric Flannel from her first Wool and Needle line. The Dark Version will be red (burgundy), green (sage), yellow and brown. The price will be the same as it is for the Lighter Version, we will be getting that up for you to order as soon as we possible can. We will also have a thread kit available for this one as well which will be $31.50. Here is what the original quilt looked like for the Darker Version.
