A Few Additions

I hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful Christmas with their Family and Friends! I know I did!  It was so much fun just to get everyone together and sit around and talk about Christmas’ Past, and the bake and cook and just have a wonderful time playing games and such.

I am so excited for the coming year as my parents gave me some money to finish my 3rd Floor in my house, which I have been wanting to do since I bought the house a year ago.  It spans the whole length of the house and has a hidden staircase in one of my bedrooms on the second floor…..it is going to make a WONDERFUL sewing room, with built in storage units….OH I CAN”T WAIT!!! I am so lucky to have a Dad that in handy with tools and is able to help me build this room!

As usual we forgot to move a few things in to the SALE section of our Clearance sale.   I knew this was going to happen, and as I was walking around the Shop putting up signs, I remembered a few.  Oops!

All in stock Gift Items (excluding the mugs) are on sale for 25% off.  Along with a few kits that I have added, Aunt Maggies, Civil War March, Cottage Stars and Sue’s Sampler.

End of the Year Clearance Sale

We hope you all are ready for Christmas and have everything wrapped and under the Tree that you need too. I am pretty sure that right about now my dad is looking at the Christmas tree and thinking, there just doesn’t seem like there is enough under the tree, and will go back out to get a few more gifts to make the Christmas Tree seem “full” under neath!! As kids my brother and I knew that is what he did, so each year we would try to find a bigger tree! Which isn’t hard to do when you have cathedral ceilings to work with! And every year there would be tons of movies and Legos under the tree, after unwrapping all the presents it would be a Lego and Movie -a-thon. I loved those days, they are some of my most cherished memories.

Tuesday will be a family filled day of getting our stockings, a few presents, family and dogs running around trying to get into their presents, and lots of food! I can’t wait! Those memories are the best!!!

I know all of you are wondering what we are going to have on clearance(dec 24-dec 31). So here it is: 25% off in stock full price Notions, books, patterns, fabric yardages and wool yardages!! Make sure you stock up on your wool, as of January 1, wool prices will unfortunately being going up in accordance to the price of wool going up for us. There will be a few exceptions as always to the discounts, valdani and valdani threads kits and dovo scissors, and specially dyed wools will not be able to get a discount.

Have a wonderful Holiday everyone!! thank you jlh

Christmas is almost Here!!

We have our White Christmas that we all hope for and expect in Wisconsin! We had an “adult snow day” as my sister-in-law called it.  We had 14″ of snow yesterday and were unable to come into work.  So if you called, we were not ignoring you, we just were not here! I used the day to sleep, and rest my voice in hopes that I feel better for Christmas, it has been a long 2 weeks of being sick. I am ready to move on from it and start to celebrate! It is no fun being sick!

Our newsletter is up with some NEW blocks of the month on it for the coming year. Along with some FUN classes if you live in the area.  We will also be adding 2 Saturdays a month of with demonstrations with gadgets, showing the different ways that you can use them and how to make your life a little more easier when doing certain aspects of quilting.

Just a reminder, next week we will be closed on December 24 and 25, so we can all enjoy  some family time.  We will be back open our regular hours on Wednesday for our End of the Year Clearance sale.  It will begin on December 24 for those of you that are ordering.  The Shop Blog will post on the 23rd with everything that will be on sale.

We will also be closed Monday and Tuesday of the following week for New Years, so that will be December 31 and January 1.

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday with your family and friends! Thank you for everything, Jlh

Orders for Christmas

If you would like to have your order before Christmas our cut off date is going to be December 11, after that we are not going to be able to guarantee that we will have it in stock and be able to get it out for you in time for the Holiday.  You can continue to order from us, however if it is out of stock and we have to get it from the designer, it could take longer as we do not know the schedules of our designers and if they will be home in order to send it out to us.  Please remember to order sooner rather than later if you would like items for the Holidays.

We hope everyone has a Safe and Wonderful Holiday Season this year!! WE can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for us!!  Please watch for the First Newsletter of 2013 to come out the end of December.

Thank you Jlh

Christmas Open House Orders

Thank you to everyone who ordered during our Christmas Open House, there was a HUGE turn out this year and we are trying to get those out to you as fast as we can.  We are only waiting on a few more patterns to come in from the designers, and some mugs to get here so that we are able to get the rest of the orders out to you!  I would say we only have about 100 left out of the 1200 that we had from the Open House!! We are hoping to have the rest of those out to you by wednesday.  Now that is our goal, don’t hold it to us, we are hoping everything should be in by then.

If you have a question about the status of your order please just email us, and we can look that up for you and email you back. Please note that I don’t spend all day on the computer, I usually only check the emails in the morning when I get in and before I go home if I have time, so please be patient. If I don’t get back to you that day I will get back to you as soon as I can.  Thank you jlh
