It has been a while since I have done a little blogging and thought I would take this beautiful Indian Summer morning and type a quick note. I am hoping that all of you have had a wonderful Summer?? I still can’t believe that it is Fall already! We were so busy around here that I feel we need a few more weeks of Summer so that I can get out and do a few more things! But I think I will live with it being Fall, since it is my favorite time of the year.
I was able to get Up North (Upper Michigan for those of you who aren’t from the area) for a couple days and relax, going to places I hadn’t been in years. We were doing a little reminiseing since my Cousin was home from Germany and we wanted to visit a bunch of places he hadn’t been in a while. We went down to a Dam that we all frequented when we were children and hiked around, and just sat and listened to the rushing water.
I was also able to go out into the woods by my grandparents house and take a few pictures of a quilt that I had brought up for them to see. I am wishing that I had brought a few more up too take pictures of. I love doing this with my quilts and am hoping that I am able to get out to High Cliff State Park (right out my back door) and bring a few more up there to take pictures of . Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! JLH
