Pennies From Heaven BOM
I know all of you have been waiting to see what Lisa was doing with the Pennies From Heaven BOM, well, here is a sneak peak at what the blocks are looking like! A little bit of a different feel from what the picture looks like on the cover but it is guaranteed to look awesome together. You know Lisa picks out the greatest wools and fabric to put together to make a very unique project. It is going to be starting to ship out mid-April. Make sure you sign up and are able to get started right away on these gorgeous blocks. Here is the cost break down for the Months.
Month 1: $30 you will receive your wools for the block and all the background fabrics
Months 2-9: $15
Month 10: $40 You will be receiving the Tan fabric and the center block wools
Month 11: $35 You will receive the black fabrics and the wools for the sunshine blocks
Month 12: $15 You will receive all setting triangle wools
Month 13: $15 Border wools
New Wall Hanging
Brenda did this wonderful NEW wall hanging with the owl on it. If you saw the picture on the pattern it would not have done this sample justice!!!! The wall hanging is approximately 24″x24″.
New Table Mats
We have made kits of some of the NEW Plays with Wools Designs. They are some great fresh new designs for Spring!!!
My Garden Block of the Month
For those of you who did the My Garden Block of the Month I wanted to show you how mine turned out, all quilted and put together. Hope you enjoyed doing this as much as I did.
Spring is here…..we think
Hopefully we have had the last of our snow until winter. We received anywhere from 10-17 inches of snow!!!!! Needless to say some of our employees did not make it to work on Wednesday and we closed at noon, incase any of you were trying to reach us. The snow storm did allow me to finish a few new samples that some of you have been waiting for….one is done and one just needs me to finish the backing. Both are available on our website. Summertime is $29.00 with pattern or the pattern is just $9.00. And Delightful Daisies is $30.00 with pattern or pattern for $9.00, it will have a green outer border. Both mats measure approximately 14″ . Hope ya’ll enjoy them!
Timeless Roses’ New Border
We were unable to have the manufacturer reprint the original border, which is out of the Summer Gatherings Book. However, we did find this wonderful substitute for this amazing quilt. The book is $28.00 and the kit is $150.00.
Country Inn
We have had one person cancel out of our Country Inn Block of the Month. Which means that we have ONE set of blocks left, and the first person to call will get to slide into that spot. You will have to purchase up to the month that they are currently at, which is month 4. Your initial package would be 4 months worth at $18.00 per month. The book must be bought separately as well. New Samples….
Brand new from the Kim Diehl Simple Graces book we have 2 new samples in the store! One is called Yesterday Remembered a sweet little wool and cotton wall hanging, that finishes 12 x 12 (excluding the frame). The kit is only$12.00!!! The book is sold separately. You can also order the frame from us for $25. The other sample is Bittersweet Briar, measuring 48 1/2 x 48 1/2, this quilt is a perfect size to hang on a wall or draping over your dinning room table. In the book Kim uses all cottons but of course we had to use wool! Lori picked out some wonderful wools that coordinated with the original project colors. Our kit is $105, book sold separately for $28.99. There are so many wonderful ideas out of this book that there are too many to choose from!
Spring 2011 Shop Hop
Even though we have snow on the way this week, amazingly it is already time for our annual Spring Shop Hop March 3, 4, and 5. As usual we are extending our Shop Hoppers Discount to all of you online during those days, or to any of you in the area who are not participating in the Shop Hop and would like to come in. You will receive their discount of any one regular priced, in-stock only item (excludes Valdani thread kits) at 20% off. Now here is where we are doing things just a little bit differently. When you make your purchase you will receive the directions on how to create our Primitive Star Block only. If you wish to receive the directions and the whole kit to create this small 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 inch quilt you will need to put it in your order basket. The quilt kit will be available on the “NEW” page. When purchasing the kit, you will receive the inner Primitive Star Block for free and all you are purchasing is the outer triangles and the border and binding fabric for: $3.50. We will also have the Thangles available incase you would like them to make perfect half-square triangles.
