Schools out for the Summer….but we have some awesome new books for you!

There are a few new books out there that I bet you are dying to find out what is underneath the cover.  We have 5 new books that I am going to get you a peak inside of, some are quilt books exclusively, while others are stitcheries and wool projects.  Pick one, two, three, four or all 5, they all have so much to offer you!

Sunday Best Quilts by Sherri McConnell and Corey Yoder are 2 Moda designers that have a few quilts in fun and funky colors, while there are a few simple and sweet quilts as well. 12 projects from 2 great designers using 6 -different quilt themes–star, scrappy, red and white, Christmas, pineapple, and Courthouse Steps, see how they put there own stamp on each.

Follow Your Heart by Terry Atkinson keeps you on your toes with Quilt, Purses, and Small Bag patterns.  Pick your poison, this book has a little bit of everything for you.

Are you into Stitching?  Changing Seasons by Gail Pan has a variety of stitcheries combined with a little piecing to give each project a little something to make your stitchery pop.  17 different projects with a new twist on the traditional.

Countdown to Christmas by Susan Ache is devoted to the red, green, cream, white projects of the Holiday Season coming upon us……FAST it seems.  I absolutely love the green in this book.  I think it would lend well to the light green that we have in our Floral Gatherings Fabric…a little bit of that yellow green that is sometimes so hard to find.

Christmas at Buttermilk Basin is by Stacy West has 19 different patterns in it that spans the wool, stitchery, quilting and more in it.  Stacy as always delivers a beautiful array of projects to be used throughout the season.

Did you find one you liked?? Let me know which one and why, we would love to hear from you!

Have a beautiful day!

  1. It would be a tie between Countdown to Christmas and Christmas With Buttermilk Basin. I guess I am in the Christmas Mood.

  2. Changing Seasons because it combines my two loves – quilting and hand embroidery.
A second choice would be Christmas with Buttermilk Basin – because its Christmasy.

  3. Christmas with Buttermilk Basin, as it includes hand stitching which I love! Thanks for sharing these with us 🤗
