On March 16 from 10a.m.-3 p.m., come and learn Wool Appliqué from one of the best teachers out there…..LISA! In this class you will learn the basics of working with wool, learn about stitching, needles and the type of thread you should be using. Just want to refresh your skills? You can come and do that too. It is some times nice to come and learn a technique again, you can soak up so much more about the technique when you aren’t trying to remember everything being said. On March 17th Lisa is going to be a busy lady teaching both the Big Stitch Class from noon-3p.m. and then again from 6p.m.-8p.m. when she will be teaching you all about how to Punch Needle.
Do you want to learn to hand quilt your quilts? If so than our class being held on March 17 from noon-3p.m. is the class for you! The Big-Stitch allow you to quickly complete your quilts with the satisfaction of completing the whole quilt yourself. This style of hand quilting is not the tiny little stitches, but will have stitches that are approximately 1/4″ in length and are made by using perle cotton thread. On the evening of March 17th from 6p.m-8p.m., we will be holding a Punch Needle Class for those of you who would like to learn about this awesome technique. There are so many options for what you can make, put them in a frame, mount them on a board as you see above, make them into pincushions….too many options to list. This is a great project for those of you who are looking for something fun and DIFFERENT to do.
