Lisa has been working hard……as usual!

It has been a while since I posted as we are in full Market and Festival mode here at the Shop and the Warehouse.  As usual our Miniature Fabric Line comes in a week before we have to have everything loaded into the trailer to go, which means we are all working hard on getting all the kits and patterns done to bring to you!

Lisa has designed 4 new mats! One for each season!  Lisa, Amy and I worked on fusing, cutting, getting cutting sheets ready, and coming up with the ever clever names of each design.  I love doing this, we come up with some off the wall ones, and it is a great time to be had!  Lisa then had the job to stitch them all!

Each of the mats below are ready to be ordered and will be in the Shop and ready to ship next week Monday!

I love this winter mat called Snowman for Hire.  The mat measures 10 1/2″ x 30″, and is a perfect addition to any table this Holiday Season.  With the way the temps have been making a down turn here in Wisconsin, having a snowman in the front yard might not be too far away.  I do know up north has a chance of their first snow flurries today.  You may think that it is too soon, but I can remember one Halloween getting all dressed up in my costume only to then layer on snow pants, jacket, hats and mittens and going out into a snowstorm to go Trick-or-Treating!

Daffodil Dance, our Spring Mat, is simple but beautiful. I was thinking we should have named it Little Bunny Foo Foo, but that got shot down right away! This is a smaller mat at 8 1/2″ x 26″.  I love the variegated stitching on the edge of the mat too, it just adds another dimension.

I love the scrappiness of this mat, hence the name Scrappy Flower Basket.  Any color and any texture will make this mat stand out and be one of a kind!  And once agin the stitching on the edge of the mat is perfect!

Old Crow & Company is a great mat for this time of the year when all the leaves are changing here in Wisconsin.  It is my favorite time of year, the colors are so rich and there is a crispness in the air that I absolutely adore.  I also love the wool that was used for the birds that grey and brown stripe is perfect for the mat.

We will also be bring to Festival in Houston kits for all the Quilts that are in the Miniature Gatherings Line!  We have them up on our website to order for those of you who will not be able to attend.  The Final Four Quilt is definitely one that I will be putting on my list of quilts to be doing this winter.  We will also have kits for Penny Pincher and Safe Travels.

And Last but certainly not least we will have all the kits available for the Little Gatherings Book! and of course the Book there as well.

We are doing a Little Quilt of the Month BOM at the Shop which will feature all of the quilts in the Little Gatherings Book.  Each month we will send you a kit to create the top of each of the Little Quilts in the Little Gatherings Book. When signing up for the BOM, you will be receiving a discounted price for all of the quilts……it will be like getting one quilt for FREE.  We will be starting this in November, so make sure you get signed up right away!  IMG_2269

I think that is all for now, I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope to see some of you at Market and Festival.  Make sure you stop by and say Hi!!
